We were just a bunch of globetrotter wannabes trying to escape momentarily from the chaotic city life. So we packed our not so light bags and flew from Cebu to Bacolod. Destination: Lakawon Island. We took the early morning flight to reach the island the...More

I've read reviews about the resort before we came here so I knew exactly what to expect with all the negative reviews and the constructions going on. My family were vacationing in Bacolod for 8 days from the US. We wanted to go to a...More

The place is still under construction when we get there. We stayed at Pearls Place which has 16 rooms and 10 common CR. Lower level is fully developed but they are adding 2nd floor to that area. Our place is the farthest from everything and...More

Hot summer is what you need? Lakawon is nearer and cheaper! Just bring your own food as sometimes there too many people ordering in the resto.

Price-wise, boat fares and huts are reasonably priced at P280/person for a round trip boat ride and P600 for the umbrella hut (nipa hut wc is cooler than the tents) good for 6-8 persons. Bring your own water, and food if you have too because...More

Dont expect boracay sands in this island. They should have disclosed that "pearl's place" has common CR. Felt uncomfortable using their common CR due to poor maintenance.

Came with family, stayed at the Premier and Junior Suites. Rooms were great, but service needs serious upgrade especially at the Restaurant and office. Food at the resto was really good, but the kitchen system as well as the serving and billing was a mess....More

i'm not sure if they have kayaks. maybe, snorkeling. not sure either coz they just have this floating bar where you can swim around the boat but it's quite deep out there. Floating bar was at P200 or 250.
