The beach is long and the sand is soft and clean so walking the beach in either direction was delightful and many people were doing it. The waves were big with a bit of an undertow, so nervous swimmers didn't go in very deep.

Smooth soft sand and if you can make the San Xoan festival even better. A good few establishments along the promenade that make it a good place for the family.
