This is a newly renovated parador with such great attention to detail. Where to start. Make sure to get a tour. There are Roman ruins they found when renovating and an exhibit in the basement. There is a lovely courtyard. The library is magnificent with...More

Our favourite of the 7 paradors we visited this August - very luxurious and spacious, genuinely historic feeling, and consistently just a little bit better than all the rest. The bodega right next door is also well worth a visit.

Another lovely room but again issues with the aircon. 24 degrees when we arrived, increased to 25 & back to 24 after 6 hours of the aircon going on. A trip to reception, after a most uncomfortably hot night, & it appears if you want...More

Renovated monastery close to lovely Asturian town of Cangas del Narcea. Beautiful rooms with every detail right. So quiet and peaceful- you can almost hear the ghostly matins.

Wow it was amazing. The imposant buikding and the way they rebuild it. Luxuery in every way. Rooms in which you can dance and a breakfastbuffet where you can stay and eat during the whole day wit stops in between in the magnificent library!

This former monastery is an impressive place. The rooms are large and clean and modern. They also come with well equipped and roomy en-suites. The hotel's location is on a main road but isn't in a town centre and so you may well be tempted...More

More or less everything about this three-year-old parador is excellent. I have stayed at many paradors and this one really takes the biscuit Stylish interiors, an excellent spa, pretty good food (our best evening's food was when we selected the 'special menu') and a lovely...More
