The botanical garden is a great place to exercise or walk surrounded by nature. The paths are asphalt, wide and well maintained. So you don't have to worry about accidentally stepping on a snake unless you go off the beaten path. Not a hardcore nature experience but a nice foray into the "wild". We have seen 4 types of monkeys... More

I would consider this place as a secondary rainforest with natural forest trees, shrubs and rainforest plants. However, to make it more authentic the forest should have less bicyles and buggies moving in the forest. Should keep it natural. Dead plants, termite eaten tree trunks that fall along the paths should be removed and lots of trash such as food... More

We rented bikes as suggested in other reviews. Although rickety and not the most pristine park, it was a pleasant mix of scenery. Some highlights: There is a ropes course inside, that we didn't look into. Looked like fun, and well maintained. The aquarium was closed. The canopy walk we were told was closed, but I thought I saw people... More

It's a beautiful, cool & a serene environment to walk about with children & family memebrs. Visitors/tourists love to visit & relax at this garden, especially during afternoon as the sun will be hot. But this time around there are less people due to the haze situation

This botanical garden on Jalan Ayer Keroh is encircled by a forest and covers an area of over 90 hectares. Within the gardens, they have various themed gardens which include heliconia, herb, bamboo, orchid and yam gardens. Giant stone carvings of prehistoric animals are scattered thoughout the park. There are buggies to take you around the park if you are... More

The highlight of my visit was a troupe of macaque monkeys, with their babies, that were right next to the road, eating alll the fruit off the tree there. I was inches away, and got great photos. the plants were interesting, too, of course!
