Absolutely loved the atmosphere at Mulwala ski club!. So many families enjoying the water- ski show whilst sitting out on the grass, many diners and friends coming together and a great band catering to all ages. It’s definitely a place that brings the town together!

We came here from Melbourne to see a specific band (Soul Chisel) on a Friday night. (Our first visit here). We were pleasantly surprised by the venue setup where they had the main stage for the headline act and a side stage for a support band, so there was continuous music all night. Add to that another stage outside on the deck and you are spoiled for choice! Free entry and very reasonbly priced drinks made it an affordable night.
On the Saturday night we got to see Thirsty Merc, again free entry!!
If only we lived closer!! This would quite easily become our favourite local hangout!!!
All of the entertainment was top class, we will definitely visit again.
Check out Soul Chisel if you get the chance. A great Cold Chisel/Jimmy Barnes tribute act.

This is the fourth time we have stayed at Mulwala Ski Club over as many years and the place has obvious improvements each visit.The park/ club is right on the lake walking distance to Yarrawonga Centre. Very professional staff right through the park and all happy to say G'day and share smiles.Reception staff were very professional in their approach .

Three of us went to the Chinese restaurant at the Mulwala Water Ski Club for lunch, what a Disappointment !!! To say the least ....
When we arrived it was an effort to be given a window seat, there was just the 3 of us, and nobody else in the restaurant there for lunch. There didn’t appear to be any rhyme nor reason for the reluctance to give us a prime seat, however it set the tone for the experience.
The food was lukewarm, the presentation was very ordinary and the portions were extremely small size for $19 a meal. The large fried rice was $9 ( served on a oval entree plate).
The account had an overcharged drink that while pointed out hadn’t been adjusted.
When we asked about the portion size of fried rice the staff member was dismissive.
Upon leaving we asked to see a Manager as the experience reflected poorly on the Club, we spoke to the Duty Manager who was very interested and wanted the CEO to hear and receive our summary.
Unfortunately, they were unavailable so he went and got the Asian owner of the restaurant. He had zero interest, it was obvious there would be no remedy or acknowledgement.
My advice ....... best to avoid that Restaurant, we will not be back.

Discussing Snobby Yuppy club. Not for families. We went there for an early Diner & were turned away after the customer service staff looked us up & down. We were told that after 7pm they had a dress code & casual clothing count be worn in the Restaurant (Even though we were there at 6PM) & the kids had on tracksuit pants & runners. We were directed to get takeaway instead at the Chinese restaurant if we wanted to eat. We felt like 3rd rate citizens. We were told to next time look at their website to read the dress code before going there. So it was a Terrible place to stop off with family for a quick dinner.
But thank you for turning us away otherwise we would not of tried the Royal Mail Mulwala Pub just up the road that i Rate a 5 Star spot to eat at.

While I am not an expert on chinese food I must say that this was the worst meal that I have had in many years. It is 3 hours since my lunch and I can still taste the bi carb soda that was used in the cooking. Usually bi carb helps with indigestion but not in this case. As the food arrived we took one look at it and new that is was going to be a disappointing meal. What an understatement it was awful. Were we there on a bad day in the kitchen??? Not sure but we will not be going back.

The food in the Chinese Restaurant was without doubt the worst meal we’ve ever had. Fairly sure it was polony in the sechuan noodles. Chicken was undercooked in overused cooking oil. Pork was pink and fatty with no taste. When the manager was approached he was very aggressive. However, the overpriced wine was nice.

A rightfully popular spot to spend the evening. Time your trip here to coincide with the excellent water skiing show (golf coin donation)
EATING: food van located within grass viewing area or you can buy pizza from Papalias that has a outdoor seating area or you can buy by the slice from take away/street food area.
Great way to experience the water.
KIDS: when we visiting they had a inflatable obstacle course that was supervised well by staff

Bingo enjoyed by elders inside on a Thursday afternoon. I grabbed a cool hoppy beverage and found the quiet area outside. Lovely setting: water edge lake view, tree-shaded grass bank, seating. Peaceful (if I disregard the odd surfski). Enjoyable large venue with many entertainment options.

Really good club, staff are very friendly was so nice to sit outside and overlook the lake and have some drinks and dinner. The "cafe" menu is really affordable.
The gaming area is nice and fancy. Courtesy bus was easy to arrange.
I work in a club a few border town's up from Mulwala and its great to come in and receive good service.
