Urbania does not attract a great number of foreign tourists. Surprisingly there are quite a number of eating places all busy with locals. Most are very good. The town has a very friendly feel and relaxed atmosphere and it is a great base to explore...More

This is my second visit to Urbania, a small but historic town in Le Marche. Here to learn the language but there is considerable history in line with Urbino. Lovely surrounds with great photo opportunities. Worth a look if in the area.

A great place to visit with lots to see but no crowds. The Palazzo Ducale was free and open, although the museum was closed. Plenty of bars and the most delicious gelati.

An amazing medieval small town - with so much to see! Good family run restaurants, and the most incredible attitude to visitors, who are not treated as tourists, but genuinely made welcome. A lovely market on Thursdays, with a marvellous fish stall, (try the fried...More

Been here twice, for a combined 5 days. Love the town, its quaintness, proximity to Urbino, and the restaurants and the gelato. All wonderful. I added pictures, take a look -- VISIT if you can.

Not a very big place, but a pleasant 1-2 hour visit. Easy to walk and very pretty landscape. Some of the attractions were closed, but there was enough to get an appreciation of the town.

Even if Fermignano and Urbino claim to be the birth-place of the famous Donato bramante, Urbania, adorns itself with the same 'title'. But it is very well known for its traditional production of majolicas. The town gravitates around the little Oratory of the Carmine where we...More
