東村山駅西口より約６分徒歩です。東村山駅西口の道沿いに入口があります。霊峰富士の溶岩石でつくられた築山に鎮座する不道明王三十六童子と七福神のお地蔵様があります。境内に休憩できる場所があり、境内の緑を楽しむことができます。

東村山を散歩して訪問しました。丁度、桜が満開の時期でお寺と桜の花のコントラストがきれいでした。不動明王三十六童子像も迫力というよりも優しさを感じる像でした。

天台宗の寺院です。住宅街から続く参道を抜けると境内です。境内の築山には不動明王をはじめ三十六童子の像が並んでいます。

明治32年に建立された天台宗のお寺です。
境内には築山があります。
不動明王三十六童子像がありますが、こちらの築山富士山から溶岩を運んできたとのことでした。なかなか迫力があります。

東村山駅の西口から歩いても数分の距離にある天台宗の寺院です。寺院自体はさほど大きくはありませんが、本堂脇の小山にある三十六童子の像がなかなかのもの。

６月１０日に訪問
訪問日は苗木市をやっていて定期的に開かれているそうです。
どことなく尼寺のようなたおやかな雰囲気のお寺です。
左側には富士山の溶岩を積み上げた大山があり不動明王の像と家臣の三十六童子の像が飾られています
この大山の裏は七福神巡りになっていて可愛らしい七福神が鎮座しています。
可愛いお顔にほっこりします。
お寺の方がとても親切でいろいろと説明をして下さいました。
緑に囲まれた境内の一画には休憩出来るベンチもあるので一服されるのも良いと思い
ます。

西武新宿線東村山駅から徒歩五分もかからない距離にあります。境内にはさまざまな石像が並べられていて、特に本殿脇の小山に仏像が並べられている様子は、夜には怖そうです。

規模的にはあまり大きくはないお寺ですが、本堂も歴史を感じる趣のあるお寺で、不動明王などの文化財もいくつかあるお寺です。建立は不明だそうですが、450年くらい前にはあったようです。

地元では野口のお不動尊と呼ばれているようです。
本殿に向かって左側にある溶岩を積み上げたような小山とそこに立つ三十六童士と称する仏様に圧倒されます。なんだか異様な光景です。
小山の裏手には石造りの可愛らしい七福神が置かれ、一分も掛からずに七福神めぐりができます。
西武新宿線・東村山駅西口から歩いて５分ほどです。
