This shrine established at the same time when "MUSASHI" local nation established in the area in the middle of 7th century. Anyone visiting here can feel real shinto culture which is the root of Japanese people.

A very beautiful Shinto temple set in the town's park. Impressive, towering stone gates on various corners of the park. Very tranquil and inviting. Very close to the train station if you come from Tokyo proper.

A bit out of the way in Fuchu, Okunitama Shrine is a nice distraction when visiting the area. It has a beautiful main shrine building and you can buy blessings at a small shrine shop. We always get blessings for auto safety. There is a...More
