Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Super nice fine sand, delicious bay, free sunbed and parasol if you buy at least 10 euros at the bar. It's a bit expensive to eat and drink there, unfortunately the DJ plays such loud music that you can't talk to each other at all. We love music, but not so loud that you can't order drinks without shouting at the waiter- 🥴

I’m so disappointed!!! Last year we were going the twice and everything was ok. This year they want 60€/50€/40€ for sun loungers. This is not serious! Last year they cost 15/25 max. Yes this is the most famous beach in the island but 60€? In the other beaches you can get the same sun loungers for 10-15€

This is one of the most popular beaches of the island and for a good reason. The waters are as clear and sandy as it gets. On the other hand this makes it the most popular place with hundreds of visitors, noisy bars, and no infrastructure to support that many visitors.
I’d love to visit again but during low season.

We took car ferry from Tripiti to this beautiful beach. The fine white powdery sand and turquoise water made this one of the best of many stunning beaches in Halkidiki. We took a 15 euro sunbeds in the front row and had the best day. Bar service was OK. The Taverna behind the bar was exceptional. The best squid we've had so far. The WC facilities were absolutely spotless. A great day on this tiny island with the friendliest staff.

Sandy beach also on the shore.
Equipped but also with ample free space.
Transparent water quite shallow for several meters from the shore (as often happens on the beaches of the island) and then becomes deeper.
It seems mostly frequented by families.

Beautiful beach with ample space to put umbrellas and various beach bars. Free umbrellas in the last rows if you consume at the bar. The staff at the beach bar (the first on the beach) are young and very helpful.

One of the nicest beaches in Ammouliani island, water is crystal clear and sand is also very nice but maybe the beach is a bit overcrowded. The beach bar also doesn't have internet. Worth checking at least for one day.

Alykes beach is one of the must-be places, if you are on "third finger" Athos. Wonderful island and blue clear sea with white sand. It is accessible both by car (with ferry) and by touristic boats.

The largest, sandy, beach on the island, with several beach bars offering the usual facilities. There are also public spaces where you can spread your towel and save some money. There is food at the regulated beaches. The sand is great. Plenty of parking. Good for kids. So iy you are looking for a cosy experience, forget it.

Hi,
It looks like Alykes Beach in Halkidiki is beautiful but it looks like it may be on an island. How do you get to it?
Thank you!
Written 26 June 2018
Hello, it is on an island. You take the ferry from Tripiti (few kms before Ouranopolis on the third leg of Halkidikí). You can find the ferry schedule here on the net.
The ride is only 15 mins

Considerato che alloggero' ad Alykes, volevo sapere se è preferibile girare l'isola in scooter oppure in macchina. E se la sera ci sono mezzi pubblici per muoversi. Inoltre chiedo quale taverna consigliate in zona.. Grazie
