Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Absolutely beautiful town, we stopped here on the way back to Verona airport at the perfect golden hour as sun was setting. Such a perfect fairytale town by the river, only small so doesn’t take long to walk around but lots of good places to eat and drink (places do get full so best to book if you can). We walked up to the castle ruins which gave a nice view over the town and only took about 15 mins so not too far.

Beatiful small village, born in symbiosis with the Mincio river and characterized by ancient fortifications dating back to the medieval period, owes its charm to the harmonious relationship that history and nature have preserved almost intact over the centuries and today represents an urban "unique" to visit at least once in a lifetime.

It takes an hour to visit but you don't have to miss. It's an old village rebuilt and it's famous even for restaurant. Not so faraway from Garda Lake (in particular from Peschiera del Garda). There's even a nice bike lane close to the Mincio river from Peschiera to Borghetto (you can rent the bike in Peschiera del Garda).

This village consists out of three streets, some restaurant and a river. During the day loaded with tourists (most of them only on the bridge and not in the village), but in the evening and at night a very cool place to hang out. There are only a few hotels in Borghetto (which are expensive), which means that most of the tourists leave before diner.
So, if you got the time and the money stay in Borghetto for 1 night. You will see a whole other Borghetto than during the day, great!

I made my way to this little town last year iSeptember when I was in Verona. What a beautiful little town. It is on the Minci river & if you don't know about Borghetto then this town will missed. The are known for their tortellini & OMG how delicious, the best I've ever had & I have virtually travelled the world. Going here, you will not be disappointed.

Hired bikes and rode from lake garda following the river mincio to Borghetto. Took about 1.5 hours on a very hot day. Absolutely beautiful town, not loads to see but nice to relax with a drink. Food expensive but had a lovely lunch and ice cream. Would recommend.

It's really small, but it's so cute, with all its houses (old water mills) on the river, the ancient dam-bridge, perhaps a couple of shops, and the start of a nice walk (that could probably be quite long) along the river Mincio, towards Mantova. Didn't try the restaurants.

MI sembra che costasse 1 euro all'ora.
