- Bronya R1 contributionFull day out for the familyI would HIGHLY recommend this to families. Although they suggest 2-3 hours, this is easily a whole day trip. Our 7 year old did the Nippers treetop walk, and then coached our 3 year old through the aerial playground. (I would have thought she was too little but she loved it!) The tube slides were an absolute highlight and we returned again and again. We've visited in the past for the mazes, but there has been SO MUCH added in the last couple of years! Pack a picnic and stay from dawn til dusk. The kids had a ball. The staff were so friendly and kind. We just had a wonderful day, thank youHi bronyar2023, Thank you for your amazing review! We are thrilled to hear you and your family enjoyed a fun-filed day out exploring all the activities on offer across our 25 acre park. We hope we can see you again soon for more adventures. - Danny12349Melbourne, Australia32 contributionsA great timeLoved this place. Plenty of things to do. The gardens were amazing. Plenty of variety of experiences, varying from mazes to slides, things for adults and also for kids. The tree surfing looked amazing - but so expensive: $80 per person for an experience of about half an hour to an hour.Hi Danny12349, Thank you for your terrific review! We are thrilled to hear you and your family enjoyed a fun-filed day out exploring all the activities on offer across our 25 acre park. Please note that the Grand Tree Surfing experience you mention is $80 per adult which includes their all-day General Admission access plus the high ropes course itself is a 2-hour session activity. - TassieTravellers99Launceston, Australia3,405 contributionsMazes and other adventuresLocated next door to the top station of Arthurs Seat Eagle is this extensive adventure playground. There are two decent hedge mazes, a number of formal and informal garden settings and a canopy walk that elevates you into the treetops. There are also several sculptures along the way. For the adventurous there is tube sliding and a highwire walk that you clipped onto zip lines through the trees. These however were additional charges. $40 per adult for the base entry fee was a little steep although we do admit that the place was very well developed and maintained. Plenty of free parking available.Hi TassieTravellers99, Thank you for your terrific review! We are thrilled to hear you enjoyed a fun-filed day out exploring all the activities on offer across our 25 acre park. We'd like to confirm though that everything is part of the General Admission ticket including our 5 mazes, gardens, Canopy Walk, two interactive playgrounds and all of our Tube Slides as well. The only activity that is an additional charge is the Tree Surfing (highwire walk & ziplines) as mentioned. We hope we can see you again soon for more adventures in the future. There are lots of activities suitable for all ages from the young to elderly. The ropes course caters for all abilities and participants can be watched from the pathways. - jasmineSingapore, Singapore22 contributionsGreat family day outWe had an excellent day out here. Came with 3 kids aged 5,5,6 and the grandparents. We unexpectedly spent 6 hours here! The mazes, gardens, tube slide and play areas kept the little ones entertained for ages and the cafe food and drinks were good and reasonably priced. This would have been enough for us but after 3 hours we decided to upgrade and do the ‘nippers’ course. I didn’t think we’d be able to as it said you needed one adult per 5 year old ratio (and my husband was over the kids course weight limit of 100kg) but luckily the staff let me go with both my 5 year olds - which was great because they didn’t need me at all. After one round with them they were asking to go on their own (Altho I did a few more loops as I was having fun too). Their one hour time slot turned into nearly 2 hours as it was quiet and staff were letting them go time and time again whilst I encouraged them from the ground. They absolutely loved it! The treasure hunt they also have on at the moment was a great hit and ensured we explored all areas of the park. We would have probably missed the pirate ship had we not been looking for one of the tokens, Highly recommend for little adventurers!Hi Jasmine, Thank you for your amazing review! This is obviously a beautiful part of the world, nice drive up the hill and fortunately this is a beautiful garden to be in. In saying that I do think that this place is over priced! With no family ticket available we paid over $180.00 for 3 adults and 3 children. This did not include any of the tree surfing, this was A LOT extra. The sky scramble that the kids were very keen to go on was height restrictive..my kids are tall, so even though they are only 10 years old they were too tall for this equipment since you had to be under 135cm to go on it. Over all the day was nice but I did feel a bit ripped off especially after getting a few chips and drinks at the cafe and that was $64 - Places like this are sadly getting close to pricing families out of coming these days.

We recommend that all General Admission ticket holders take the opportunity to explore the entirety of our beautiful 25 acre property in order to make the most of their visit to our park.
In this way, even non-Tree Surfing guests are able to immerse themselves in a wonderland of natural attractions including two hedge mazes, a turf maze, Children's Maze, spring maze, life-sized brainteaser puzzles, 5 giant Tube Slides including one specifically designed for little adventurers, Enchanted Lake, Canopy Walk, Sky Scramble (for those under 135cm), Sculpture Walks and over 20 themed gardens. We recommend a minimum of 2 to 3 hours to explore all of these activities.
We hope these recommendations assist you and we can welcome you back in the future.

Visited enchanted gardens today. Beautiful garden and well kept, however no paper map received so made it hard to navigate around. I had to Google for a map which was annoying. The mazes were okay nothing spectacular. The tube ride was the biggest hit with the kids. We didn't do the tree surfing so my review is not based on that but as another reviewer mentioned it is A LOT more to add this experience and may not be for everyone. Overall it is quite an expensive experience even for general admission. For a family of 2 adults and 3 kids we paid $145. I couldn't help comparing the general admission to other similar experiences that are much cheaper or even free.
I recommend taking your own food, as chips are $8, yes you read correctly $8 for a small cup of chips, around $6.50 for a sausage roll. Very pricey fast food.

Thank you for taking the time to review us after your visit.
We are currently trialing a move away from giving out single-use park maps in an effort to be more sustainable and environmentally conscious. To assist with this, we have increase navigational and directional signage around the park including larger maps placed in high-traffic and popular areas.
We recommend that all General Admission ticket holders take the opportunity to explore the entirety of our beautiful 25 acre property in order to make the most of their visit to our park.

We always encourage and welcome guests to bring their own food or picnic on their visit. There are an array of spots throughout the park where guests can set up and immerse themselves in the natural bushland and beautiful garden surrounds. Our Cafe prices are reflective of increases from our suppliers. Like all businesses in this current time, we are continually needing to adapt to changes in supplier pricing.
We sincerely appreciate all guest feedback as it helps us further improve our offerings and products. Your feedback has been passed onto the relevant teams for discussion and consideration.
We hope you have a wonderful day!

My husband and the rest of our group enjoyed the tree-surfing. However, I wouldn't recommend The Enchanted Adventure Gardens for children under 2 years. There's not much to do... other than walk through a couple of mazes. I found our day-out to be quite boring. The café is pricey and there's minimal seating available, so a picnic is ideal amongst the gorgeous gardens, however it's difficult to find a level spot as the grounds are undulating. The playground is great, but not suitable for toddlers, and the slides aren't suitable either, as you have to drag a heavy tube up a hill as well as carrying a small child.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We're sorry to hear you left our park having a boring experience.
Children 2 years old and under are free of charge to enter the park as our climbing General Admission activities are for ages 3 years and up. Therefore, children 3 years and above require a child ticket to enter. Children 2 years and under can explore their senses and enjoy an adventure in our mazes, themed gardens, Canopy Walk, puzzles, boardwalks and even our specifically designed Kids Tube Slide for the smaller adventurers including 1 and 2 year olds where they can ride by themselves!
Our Cafe is currently operating in a takeaway capacity with a limited menu due to COVID Safe measures. It serves as a stop for patrons of the park to grab a quick bite or refreshment and continue on their adventure. We always encourage guests to bring a picnic and a blanket to enjoy amongst the gorgeous gardens and natural bushland.
As we are situated on the side of a hill, there is naturally sloping terrain within the park and we understand that this can make moving through the park difficult for some people. There are many picnic tables and deck spaces placed throughout the park for guests to use on their visit.
We hope that this information helps you in planning a future visit with us and we can welcome you back!
Warm Regards,
The Enchanted Adventure Garden Team

Been here twice now and little has changed. The gardens are pretty, there’s a big treetop playground with limits on ages to play there lots of unsupervised kids being rough.
The tube rides are slow and no good for your back and the walk up the hill pulling the tube is exhausting they need a better system there.
To have to pay extra for the zip lining is a bit rough on top of the entry price as that’s a main attraction.
It’s hilly and there’s a lot of walking.
I am glad they got rid of the dark demonic painted room as last time the kids we’re petrified.
There’s not heaps to do but it’s a time waster for a few hours.
They could utilise the pond area with paddle boats or some other attractions

As we are located in the hinterland of the Mornington Peninsula in Arthurs Seat, we are situated on 25 acres with naturally slopping terrain in some areas. We understand that this may be difficult for some guests, however, always encourage guests to come with their walking shoes at the ready for a day of adventure!
Unfortunately, our beloved 3D Spooky Maze & Mirror House is currently closed due to COVID Safe physical distancing requirements. Many of our guests miss it, however, we understand that some guests may not enjoy this spooky attraction.
We will be sure to pass on your recommendations for our Enchanted Lake to our management team.

Went with 2 families with children aged between 3 - 7 years. We got x2 General Admission passes and x2 adult rides for the zip line.
Positives: Grounds beautifully attended to, tube rides, mazes and kids playground space great.
Negatives: The zipline landing was incredibly dangerous. My friend and I were smacked on the ground when we landed and dragged on the tanbark having landed backwards. NOT enjoyable nor safe.
The instructors were fairly young, not overly professional and sped through instructions only briefly commenting on the landing without warning as to what to actually expect or if you happen to spin around and twist backwards!! I later asked about this and the instructor said it takes practice/experience to guide the harness!!
I would advise a significant review of the zip line landing and more professional instructors for the safety of the general public.

We have visited the Park several times over the past ten years with children of all ages and we have always had an exceptional day . It never ceases to amaze me how beautifully the place is kept and there is always something new or updated making the adventure even more exciting . The gardens , mazes , landscape architecture so creative and beautifully maintained and located . The activities for the children well supervised and interactive with staff . It does seem a bit expensive when you arrive and are paying at the window but it truly is value for money . It’s an experience for all your senses no matter your age and what you participate in from 4yrs to teenagers to young adults and the elderly - there is something for the entire family to enjoy .
It is not on the same page as the Queensland theme Parks and if your whole reason for visiting is just for the extraordinary experience of the tree surfing you have missed out on so much more . It’s a good half a day to a full day of adventure . I couldn’t recommend it more highly .

This review is really in two parts as part of our day was a really negative experience while the other part of our day was really lovely.
When we arrived at the venue I asked the ticket seller if there was a height limit for the treetop surfing as my husband is 6ft 5in and I wasnt sure if he was too tall. I was told that the only limit was that you must be over a certain height. We purchased the tickets based on that advice.
We harnessed up and were taken to the practice course by the guide where he showed us how to hook onto the guide ropes and that was pretty much it. He really didnt take any notice of what people were doing . When practising on the course my husband stepped off the platform and as he stepped onto the ground due to his height he was yanked forward and he banged his nose on the clip that harnessed him to the guide rope. His nose was bleeding quite badly and he decided not to complete the course. The guide took him back to the harness area, gave him a wipe and a bandaid and that was it. There was no incident report taken, no care really given. He was left on his own.
My 2 children and myself did the course and straight away I realised that any person 6ft 5in is going to struggle on the course. When standing on the platforms up in the trees you need to manouver under and around the guide ropes. At 5ft 4in I had to nearly bend in half to get under some. When completing each level you zipline back to the ground. A few of the ziplines are very fast and you can end up coming in backwards. I feel it would be very dangerous for someone so tall and could easily result in an injury as they would hit the ground much earlier than someone smaller.
I did seek a refund for the cost involved given my husband did not even make it on the course but I was told that no refunds were available. The person I spoke to asked if an incident report was taken and when I told her no her response was "oh, sorry about that" but again no effort was taken to understand what had happened.
We found out once inside that you could pay entry and then add the treetop surfing experience afterwards. My strong advice is do not purchase the treetop surfing experience at the entrance, rather go inside and have a look at what it involves before deciding whether or not to do it.
Now for the good, my 11 and 13 y/o girls loved the treetop surfing and completed all 5 levels. I was pretty much terrified the entire time and completed 3 levels. The kids would do it again, I on the other hand would never do it again.
The gardens and mazes are absolutely beautiful. We loved the tube surfing. It's exhausting lugging the tubes up the hill but definitely worth the effort.
There is a fabulous climbing area for kids under 135cm. Shame its not available for bigger kids too as my girls would have loved it.
Would I recommend this place. Yes, for sure but remember pay entry only and then go in and decide whether to add extra activities and DO NOT do it if you are over 6ft!

What a horrible ending to what was supposed to be a fun enjoyable family day out. I started off visiting all of the mazes with my children and then decided to go on "The big zip"which appeared to be safe. Oh how I was wrong. I was provided basic landing instructions which I followed that resulted in multiple severe injuries to my knee including an ACL rupture and a unrepairable meniscus tear. The approach on the landing towards the end of the zip was too fast and there was no way of slowing it down. Following the landing instructions at such a speed caused my knees jolted not once, but twice. Too add insult to injury, I was requested by the park attendant working on the ride to go up the stairs to the second zip line as he did not have the equipment to unhook me. This aggrevated the injury. Now I'm struggling to manage daily routines, including looking after my children and household. On top of this, paying for ongoing medical bills. Management have failed to take any responsibility. Absolutely disgusted by how this has been handled.

Thank goodness for the tree surfing as without it our trip would’ve lasted only an hour.
For a family of five the cost isn’t cheap - $225. Our kids range from 10 to 15 and the slide only held enough interest for 2 slips down the hill and the mazes were suited to younger children.
The tree climb however was great and the kids loved it.

Thank you for taking the time to review us after your visit.
We are thrilled to hear that your kids loved their Tree Surfing experience!
We recommend that all General Admission ticket holders take the opportunity to explore the entirety of our beautiful 25 acre property in order to make the most of their visit to our park.
In this way, even non-Tree Surfing guests are able to immerse themselves in a wonderland of natural attractions including two hedge mazes, a turf maze, children's maze, spring maze, rocky road maze, tyre maze, giant tube slides, enchanted lake, canopy walk, sky scramble, sculpture walk and array of formal gardens. We generally recommend 2 - 3 hours to explore all areas included in the General Admission ticket alone.
Warm regards,
The Enchanted Adventure Garden Team

Hi Puji,
We recommend pre-booking your tickets as soon as you can to avoid any disappointment.
During our peak periods, tickets can book out very quickly as spaces are limited on our Tree Surfing and Big Zip activities. Our typical peak periods include School Holidays, the Summer period and long weekends.
If you are looking to only do General Admission, you can purchase these tickets on arrival as we do not sell out of them, however, if you are wanting to do Tree Surfing or Big Zip, we highly recommend pre-booking.
If you have any further questions, please give our office a call on 03 5981 8449
Warm regards,
The Enchanted Adventure Garden team

Has anyone used public transport to get here? Is it really that hard to get a taxi from the info centre? Can you pre book one? Also can you use the arthurs seat Eagle to get here, or are they two completly different experiences?

Hi Makayla, thank you for your question! You should be able to get a taxi from the info centre in Dromana however we may suggest booking this in advance.
We are a separate business from the Arthur's Seat Eagle however are just walking distance away.
If the Eagle is open you can certainly catch a gondola from the base station up to the summit then walk to us.
We would however suggest checking the Eagle is open on your planned day as they can be closed dependant on weather.
Thanks!

We were considering bringing our kids 11,16 & 17 here for a small trip to Melbourne, but after reading the reviews, and management responses, were pretty put off by it all :-/ there is one rule in customer service and that is “the customer is always right”!!!
The moment I saw a response by management making excuses for their poor behaviour irrespective of the places guidelines and entry fees I was extremely disheartened!
People would pay any amount to get good and friendly service!
So honestly... is it worth visiting?

I always check to see how many reviews the person has submitted prior to them making their complaint, majority of the time they only have two or three which makes me think they are not experienced enough to make a valuable contribution. Check the latest good reviews, I will happily take my family back again!

I haven't read the other responses, but can say that generally our experience with staff was pretty good. Apart from he somewhat disengaged teenagers handing out the tubes for the tube slides, everyone else was pretty friendly and helpful. There is a heap to do here. I reckon your kids would love the tree surfing and the zip line. The tube slides are a lot of fun too.

Hi there, if you are looking at General Admission only (no Tree Surfing or Big Zip experience), then we recommend allowing 2-3 hours to make the most of the day.
Alternatively if you are interested in the Tree Surfing we would recommend pre-booking this in advance so you know your session time and duration.
If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact our office staff on 03 5981 8449!

I am planing a fun day out here. I am also planning to take my lunch and water bottles as well. I was just wondering if I could wear my little backpack while doing the tree surfing, as I will have my phone and wallet in there as well?

Hi brittanymar8,
We don't permit backpacks on the Tree Surfing course however we do have lockers as mentioned by the others. You're more than welcome to take your phone at your own risk if you have a pocket to zip it up in.
Hope to see you soon,
Team Enchanted
