We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a pleasant artificially made beach that runs between St Kilda Beach and Port Melbourne beach along Beaconsfield Parade. It was lookingin good condition with a good expanse of sand as it has recently been replenished..

My husband and I stayed about a half mile from this beach, and walked to and along the beach daily.
There is a wide footpath with cycle lane running the full length of the beach. In the evenings there are many windsurfers to watch, and of course the incredible sunsets.

It is a pleasant walk along the sand or up on the path that overlooks the beach. The breeze comes in from the sea and you can see the sandy expanse from the ship terminal in Port Melbourne all the way to the parkland at St Kilda. How lucky are they that can do this every day. Some kiosks, drinking fountains, seating, and public toilets mean you can linger in the area a bit longer.

Glass is dangerous in beaches as it can lead to cut feet so not glass in our beaches please. Smoking is also discourages as butt can end up in the bay and kill marine wild life. Alcohol in cans, bottles or casks is banned all year round too. Dogs are not welcome in busy Summer periods and at other designated periods at other times of the year. Leave Fido at home or walk these introduced animals in designated dog areas in local parks or along footpaths on a leash without it urinating on private property and shop fronts..

This is the second beach over (to the right) from Port Melbourne's cruise terminal. Between this beach and the terminal is Port Melbourne Beach.

The rows of beautiful palm trees and expanse of grass, in addition to the sandy beach, make this a very desirable beach.

Easier to find parking, not many shops/cafes nearby so it's quieter. Lots of people take their dogs here so if you're not a fan, maybe avoid!

This is one of my favourite beaches. The water is shallow at first and only slowly gets deeper. There are no rips either. It is accessible by public transport, has the typical clean, wide, sandy beach and has public toilets. The shared pedestrian/cycle path passes by it and there is some parking. Dog access is seasonal.

We stayed in a shoebox for 4 nights but the sheets were clean and the bathroom was nice. The location was great - close to tram and Lakeside stadium.
