Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I have visited the St. Nicola Chapel for the past 10 years. It was restored by my friend, the great art restorer, Maria di Capua. The ceiling is now restored and is beautiful. Everyone should visit it.

A small church stands between buildings that suddenly appear while strolling through a narrow town. The plain white facade, with the word cute, is simple with a triangular-roofed bell tower, round windows and an entrance. When I visited, there was star illumination. It is said to have its origins in the middle of the 17th century, but it was renovated and had a new look, including the inner sanctuary.

We stumbled on this tiny church by accident while wandering round the tight little lanes of the Centro Storico in Locorontondo. Barely wider than the doorway it passes through a vaulted corridor with fresco ceiling of musicians
to a small altar beneath a drum cupola with lantern light. The frescoes are not in particularly good condition but the church is beautiful in its simplicity and without the heavy decorative features of the bigger churches is almost more genuine in its importance.
Well worth looking out for it.

A beautiful little Church. It had fallen into disuse for many generations and had been used as a builders storage shed. Following the death of the last builder, it was rediscovered and the incredible frescoes restored and preserved. Now open again open to the public, albeit a little difficult to find, but worth the hunt.

It is located in the center surrounded by typical village houses. San Nicola di Myra, from the 17th century, with its frescoed vault is its main attraction

Quite austere from the outside, this is nevertheless a church which deserves to be opened. What can you say other than "raise your head towards the ceiling".... Built in the 17th century and fairly recently renovated... Superb

A small church with a frescoed vaulted roof. Inside, during the Christmas period, a series of nativity scenes, one of which is particularly interesting (the one made of painted stones).
