We spent 4 nights in the park staying at Ndaka Safari Lodge. During our stay here, we were lucky enough to see 4 of the big 5 as well as the solo cheetah in the park! The reserve is incredibly scenic and being a private game reserve, it is not crowded with vehicles or other visitors and they don't overcrowd... More

There is so much to see and explore at Nambiti under the able guidance of a good ranger. Our group was treated to game drives spanning a range of vegetation types and locations. We were fortunate to experience rain which only resulted in one of the game drives not happening, but that was not due to unwillingness on the ranger's... More

Highly recommend this game reserve. It has all of the big 5 in a malaria free zone. Easy driving distance from Johannesburg and Durban.

There are 9 lodges within the conservancy and my wife and I have stayed at 8 of them and have returned several times to a few of the Lodges. We have found that all the lodges have their own unique character so would be hesitant to recommend one over another. The staff, managers and game drivers are all very friendly... More

Stayed at Ndaka Lodge, just lovely. Well recommended. See my review on Trip Advisor. I have written plenty to give you a good idea of what you get.

In the three days we spent at Nambiti Hills we saw lion (a lion kill!), elephant, hyena, jackal, black rhino, giraffe, numerous species of antelope and birds, mongoose and even sand snakes mating in the road! All in all an amazing game viewing experience.

We first visited Cheetah Ridge at the end of last year for 2 days, but felt it was too short so we returned this year for 3 days. It was still too short but short enough for our waistlines because of the great food. Like the first time we were met and treated like family members by the wonderful staff.... More

Well maintained and unintrusive access to wild game. Great viewing of the big 5 and many more species. Highly recommended.
