We went to the night market in Sibu and this temple is near it. While the temple itself was closed we asked and were granted permission to climb to the top. Inside is a sort of museum with lots of interesting pictures of old time...More

Even though it is in sight of both the bustling market and the busy docks, there is a very real sense of peace and spirituality, here. The burning incense can be smelt from across the street and the whole complex is unmissable if in Sibu.

We had a short couple of nights trip to Sibu and made a short visit to the iconic pagoda temple. It was clean and majestically overlooking the great Rejang river! Lovely compound!

Not much activity happening when we visited the temple. Manage to climb the pagoda after getting the key from the caretaker. My opinion is that the leaning tower of Teluk Intan is more interesting.

We came to pray in the first day of 2018. The temple is crowded as usual. According to the local, this temple is the one to go if you wish to pray for good health, wealth and prosperity!
