Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were looking for something to do in Karmiel and we chanced on Meadan Brewery on Trip Advisor. Bryan was really helpful and we organised a visit exactly when it suited us. In actual fact they are getting ready for a relaunch of their visitor's centre but Bryan still found time to take us round and explain about his dream of setting up a gluten free brewery and the reality of having to join with the HaGibor Brewery. His tour was interesting and informative and the Date Ale was delicious. We left with big smiles on our faces. I highly recommend a visit especially when it is super hot outside and a cool refreshing beer awaits at the end of the tour.

The tour was very interesting. We learned a lot about brewing beer in general and about the differences in brewing gluten-free beer in specific. The tour guide was the owner of the brewery so, of course, he was very informed and more than happy to answer our questions. Of course we got to sample the beer at the end of the tour. It was better than any other gluten-free beer that I have ever had.

Warm, welcoming people obviously proud of their unique brewery that makes beer from non-traditional ingredients, catering to those who cannot tolerate gluten. Well worth visiting.
For those who love beer and have no gluten issues, they'll enjoy tasting these unique craft beers, opening up the concept of beers not made with barley or wheat. For those who can't drink gluten based beers these are satisfying alternatives for regular consumption!
After the visit, you cannot but fail to wish these entrepreneurs success. The products are excellent, and they themselves are hard working and creative professionals.

Well, well, where do I start? From the vats to the owner and anything in between, Meadan beer rocks. Wether you are gluten intolerant or just love a good brew, you must try a Meadan brew. Now I know you can buy it in many places these days, but do yourself a favour and visit the brewery in Carmiel. I don't want to hear it's to far, Israel is small, very small so get your ars out there, are you there yet?! No?! What are you waiting for?! Your beer is getting warm. As one who had the opportunity to taste the brew before it was even Meadan brewery I'm letting you know they have come a long, long way so should you...

On a recent trip to Israel, in the northern region of Karmiel, I had the pleasure of visiting Meadan Brewing Ltd. This pristine and new brewery produces, exclusively, beers that are Gluten- free and Kosher for Passover. It should be noted that the beer rivaled any gluten beer I've ever tasted. The real surprise was the beautiful Visitors Center where they offer guided tours of the premises and end with beer tastings Our guide Bryan Meadan, the owner and producer, was welcoming, friendly, passionate and funny as he lead us on this "fabulous adventure into the land of Gluten-free beer". The tour ended in the Visitor's Center where Bryan's wife Danna provided us with sample tastings of Buckwheat Ale, Chickpea Ale and Date Ale... all of which were delicious! The excitement, pride and belief in the Meadan vision, was contagious and made for a warm and wonderful experience. Their slogan says it all: "The Only Intolerance We Tolerate Is Gluten Intolerance". I highly recommend this tour...go and see for yourself! It was truly one of the highlights of the trip.

Not often do you get the opportunity to see the beginning of something special happening. Meadan Brewery in Karmiel is such an opportunity. Bryan and Dana Meadan have built a unique brewery, with an intimate and pleasant visiting experience, offering a selection of quality gluten-free beers. You don't have to be gluten intolerant to really enjoy these. Beer from chickpeas - who would have thought.
