Great place to visit if you are staying in Puglia. At night the castle is well lit and there are plenty of places to eat, have an espresso or to enjoy a gelato. The back streets give you a great sense of how life was,...More

Everything in historic centre of Conversano is medieval. The castle has an interesting exhibition of period clothing dating from the 19th and 20th centuries. It also had a set of 400 year old paintings depicting a legend of the Crusades. It's a pity that one...More

This castle was situate in the main square. We could not visit much as there was work being done, plus a painting was being wrapped to be transported elsewhere. Looks like it is most interesting, but a pity we could not visit properly.

We visited Conversano by night to eat at a nearby restaurant. We did not regret the decision as both the Catle and the surrounding areas were amazing by night. Very popular with both tourists and locals.
