Small (but steep) hike from the Niederburg (+- 15min). There is also a trail from the parking in Manderscheid which is less steep. Nice views from the ground floor and the tower. (Free Entrance)

Nice ruins to visit (for free). You only need a quite short walk (15 minutes) to get there. The tower gets good maintenance. You can climb the tower, but it can be dark inside, so you might need a light. The tower gives you a...More

This is a great way to spend a few hours of the day, especially with visitors. The parking area is free and easy to park in. The hike to Oberburg is about 10-15 mins from the parking area. It's the one with the least ruins...More
