Lovely beach

Clear waters, in a protected reef so great for snorkelling. Take reef shoes and be careful of not standing on coral or other sea life, which could cause damage to the environment.

Free awesome snorkelling. Bring your snorkels from home and go nuts. There are big blue starfish, all types of small tropical fish and the odd nemo. Just beautiful, didn't want to come home.

Like most of the beaches on the island this one is stunning but those on the southern coastline have something a bit more special at sunset. Crisp golden sand, amazing snorkling and picture postcard sunsets.

I have been to this place several times and I was impressed from the very first time due to the abundant sea life. As I get to know the place better, I discovered that was I had considered abundant the first time was not so. If you go for a swim or a snorkel just out of the car park,... More

Loved strolling along the Beach while staying at Makayla Palms. Hermit crabs were great to spot at nighttime and the beach was spectacular during the day! We went snorkeling here and also kayaked up to fruits of rarotonga for more snorkeling.

Lovely spot for the sunsets and beach strolling along enjoying the vista. You can have dinner at restaurants and then wander the beach.

We spent an afternoon there and loved every minute of it. Even though the weather wasnt that great, the ocean was still beautiful and the waves were spectacular at times!

The beaches on the south east side of Rarotonga are some of the best in the world - great snorkeling, blue starfish, rainbow fish, etc. What's not to like?! You can easily spend the whole day here, moving under the palms if the sun is too much for you. Great place to picnic and an easy stroll from restaurants and... More

Without going too far out in the reef if with small children. Some nice bommies close to shore with both coral and many varieties of fish, both large and small. Nicer than Muri Beach which is really quite smelling at the moment.

Outside dining with a beautiful sunset to watch. Good company with other fellow Kiwis and Australians.
