Great sandy beach with a few rock pools, plenty of parking, many shops, cafes & restaurants. Market day on Tuesday was very busy.

The beach sweeps around the sheltered coast East and west of Damgan. It's a great place for doing absolutely nothing except relax and listen to the waves. Busy in mid- July and particularly so after 4 o'clock when mums with schoolchildren arrive. Plenty of facilities...More

Plenty of space to enjoy here to enjoy safe bathing along this stretch of sand. Some rock pools towards the far end beyond the L'Albatros hotel where it tends to be quieter.

Whether the tide is in or out there is a delightful walk along the beach either towards Penerf of towards the small town of Damgan.

In the winter Damgan is closed up. The majority of the houses near the coast are holiday. On the upside you get the beach to yourself. In the summer I am sure it gets really busy.

We always visit Damgan when we are in the area and walk the length of the Promenade with our dog; the views and the beach are always interesting to look at whilst strolling along. In Damgan there are ample places for coffee/tea, cafes and restaurants....More
