Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Number 1 producer of confetti in Italy. You have to try them. All colors, flavors, and texture. Beautifully displayed and gift wrapped. A family business and unique tradition. Among the best that I've ever tasted.

Definitely not to be missed when visiting Andria along with the Castel Del Monte!
However, this hidden gem of a museum will a nice sweet touch for your trip in the region and change your palate for all the olive oil :)

We were treated to a tour of this museum and shop by Manuela, one of the fourth generation of the Mucci family to run this artisanal confetti producer. It was outstanding! We tasted many confetti and bonbons and each was delicious. They use only the finest ingredients and still use their historic methods of producing these goodies. The old methods involve using large copper bowls for the various layers of coating, hand painting on certain of the confections, using only natural vegetable-based food colorings and using the best selections of nuts and cacao beans. Oh, and we bought bunches of candies to take home to our children and grandchildren. If one is in the Andria area, this tour is highly recommended!

My wife visited the museum and shop, and came away with bags of lovely mixed chocolate bonbons. They were all good but in the selection was a magical chocolate bonbon flavoured with liquorice. This was unlike anything tasted anywhere before. On first bite and chew it tasted just of lovely chocolate, but as chewing continued there was a gradual but distinct increase in the flavour of liquorice. It was really like a magical experience. We tried it on other people and their reaction was the same as ours - complete wide-eyed amazement. Why haven't I had anything like this before? How can I get more between trips to Italy?

We visited this museum in April 2016 as part of our tour to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. It is truly a gem. The personal tour was excellent and we came away with presents for all the family. The young lady who took us round made us feel very special. It was well worth the trip up from Giovinazzo where we were staying for a few days.

We arived at morning closing time and the 4th generation propietor opened up again and gave us a wonderful tour of the original production facility in the basement. What a treat! They have lots of documents and and old office set up as well as original candy boxes. The owner's enthusiasm was infectious. She kept giving us samples of different types of candy and each one was better than the last. We left with lots more to try at home and at very reasonable prices. Absolutely worth a trip

Mucci breaths the Italian passion for quality. The shop is 100 years old and in its original glory. The confectionary is of the traditional quality. The story behind it is available in every detail with the museum that can be visited. The original production methods is in full display. Products can be tasted during the tour. The 5 euro entrance fee is well spent.

What a treasure of a place to visit. The staff were friendly and informative and spoke excellent English. Sweet treats for all occasions and with tasters along the way. Impossible to come away without buying some treats of chocolate or marzipan. A museum, shop, and history all rolled into one delicious mouthful!
