The Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a mosaic of grass plains, wooded grassland, Acacia woodland and evergreen thicket extending for over 350 square kilometres. The Ol Pejeta Conservancy, East Africa’s Largest Black Rhino Sanctuary, is situated at the foot hills of the Aberdares and the magnificent snow-capped Mount Kenya. Ol Pejeta boasts an astounding variety of animals including non-indigenous chimpanzees and the Big Five (the endangered black and white rhino, leopard, elephant, buffalo & lion). We visited Ol Pajeta Conservancy and had put up at Serena Sweet water camp. We did 3 Game drives and it was so much fun. We could sight Rhino, Gazals, Water bucks, baboons, buffalo, zebra, Giraffe. We visited the chimpanzee conservancy which was also very beautiful. The last game drive was awesome as we sighted many animals in one place... More

If your Africa Trip includes a desire to see Rhinos, this is a good bet. You are likely to be treated to a good diversity of wildlife and Rhinos are their specialty, and we were not disappointed in our visit.

I really liked the trip to the highlands of Kenya into Nanyuki. About 4 hours from Nairobi, its a town located at the foot of Mt. Kenya. Ol Pejeta is breath taking. I was so incredibly lucky to see so many amazing animals in the wild. It's a truest fantastic experience and would recommend this highly. They work so hard to protect the wildlife and really hope everyone who visits will support there conservation work and do what they can to educate others

paid $40 for an hour private tour and photo session with the Rhino. The staff was well educated about the Rhino and shared in an interesting manner.
