We actually liked the narrow, winding drive up to Mt. Lofty than the actual place itself. If you park on the side of the road up to the summit, you can park for free but we felt the $4 AU fee for parking. There is...More

We started a tour to the Adelaide Hills with a stop off at the Mount Lofty Summit. Although there was some cloud cover, we still got a fantastic view of the whole of Adelaide. There are plenty of walking trails around the area as well...More

Amazing place for sunset, not so much for sun rise I thinks. Some time it could be very windy and you really need some warm close even in spring and autumn. Nice place for astronomy photography if you want combine city and star.

we went here later in the day and found the cafe & information centre closed. It was a very cold day when we visited. On a good day I would say it would be a better time to go.
