Now the new entrance and visitor centre are open, it makes for a lot nicer visit. The cave walkway has been improved and is a lot better with more highlighted formations and crystals.

Lovely cave. Usually only open at week ends. Need to check times and opening hours with the tourist info office, Need to be reasonably fit as there is some bending in one area and wet under foot with some inclines.
Had a very nice trip to the caves. The guide spoke only Spanish and there is no English information available. But the tour and cave is still a very nice trip. The directions might be a bit hard (small road going north at crossroad RM-714/RM-B19)....More
Visited Calasparra recently and was really impressed with the surrounding countryside, the caves are great but I suggest contacting the tourist office before setting off, they will tell you when the best time to go will be.
