Absolutely amazing!! It was sprinkling the morning that we went, but it didn't even matter. We were able to see ALL the animals, except the hippos who were pretty well hidden. The ski lift type cable car is really cool. We loved this zoo!

Well worth a visit. Expensive but worth every penny. Recommend the birds of prey show. Gorillas were also amazing.

In comparison with the rest of the pricing that we found in Cantabria this was at the expensive end of the range, although as days out go in comparison with say theme parks it's not too bad. We spent a whole day out here and...More

I'm not normally a fan of 'wildlife' parks but this place exceeded all my expectations. The animals have huge areas to roam around very freely with minimal interaction from people. There was so many different types of animals to see and unlike traditional zoos, the...More

Not very well publicised, we discovered this place by accident. But what a gem. See wild animals in as natural a setting as is possible and what the brochures don't tell you is that you can see most of the park from cable cars( unlimited...More

Best animal park I've been to in a long time, and you know how I knew the animals were happy? Babies, lots of babies. Elephant babies, bear babies, baby animals everywhere. They only breed when they're happy and have plenty of space. The enclosures were...More

We had a family outing to this park while on holiday in Santander and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We were expecting a safari park, i.e. staying in the car with all windows closed, so we were surprised to discover that we could drive anywhere we wanted...More

Drive through or walk. Take the cable car to explore the entire park. An interesting option is to see the park biking but be ware of some of the hills (one of them has a percentage above 20% !)

It is a very big place because the animals are within a semi-freedom status so you would need a car or a bike. I used my car so I don't know if it is possible to rent a bike
