Another attraction that brings the coach parties to Pampaneira but is really not that interesting. You can see the chocolates being made behind a glass screen but basically it is just a large chocolate shop.

You would not expect to find a chocolatière in a Spanish mountain village. But this is a lovely shop. Wide choice of different choclate some unusual combinations which are all made made on the premises and gorgeous ice cream. Not good for your waste-line but a lovely treat.

Just at the entrance to the village on the right hand side out of the car park. Can sample from the wealth of homemade artisan chocolate on offer. Bring your wallet. Good for gifts but not in hot weather!

Great ice cream. Hard to choose which flavour. Even had sugar free chocolate and ice cream so we took some home for a friend. Well set up for large groups of tourists.

I was told by a cousin to try their chocolate covered figs. Well they are incredible. After sampling different chocolates I decided to buy a couple of boxes of the chocolate covered figs since I wanted to bring one as a gift. I ended eating them all.

This place always has samples for you to try before choosing, which really helps to choose the best chocolate for you. My favorite was the dark chocolate with rasberry and the one with corn in it. The staff is very nice. I recommend!

Lots of interesting flavours (pepper, chili, cherry, honey, sea salt, both dark and white chocolate)made on the premises, lots of samples to taste before you buy! Small museum, but the chocolate is the main event.

Fabulous smell as you enter the shop, wonderful chocolates and (when we visited) great background music.
