We found The Wine Bar during a weekend away staying in Highworth and exploring the Cotswolds. We popped in for some reasonably priced drinks on both evenings. Certainly the sort of place that's missing from a lot of towns these days!

Almost missed this place with its unobtrusive street frontage but glad we didn't. Reminiscent of a hobbit's burrow, this was a quiet little haven with good beers e.g Otter, Jail Ale at keen prices.

A very friendly and sociable bar. Rob the owner/barman is the perfect host. There are the odd weekend activities. Beer and wine prices are the cheapest in the region. Located on the Main Street it is full of character, located underground it is full of...More

We've been here a few times now and it's easily the best place in Highworth to go for a drink. We will definitely be back again!

The beer in this place is really well kept, the service is friendly and the surroundings comfortable. First time someone has given me a bowl of peanuts at the bar for years in this country.

Small basement bar serving well kept real ale, wood burner to keep you warm - what more could you desire? On Sundays there is free cheese and biscuits.
