A must see on the way to the HooDoos. Original old school that some say is haunted by the old staff and students. So neat to see the old classrooms and school items. Take the tour for $7.00 per/person. Cheap entertainment and history lesson. The...More

The staff were very welcoming and informative. Its a neat place to just stop off at and check out the history of the school and area....they also have a little cafe there.

Yes, this is a school house, but even more interestingly, there are excellent exhibits about the local coal-mining history of the area. The tea room serves tasty soups and sandwiches as well as home baked treats and lemonade.
