Easy walk to beach, just 10-12 minutes walk from bus route. The beach is very clean, nice sandy dog free beach. Ideal for taking a mile long stroll, and on a good sunny day, ideal for sand castle making fun-filled family day out. It has restroom, nearby restaurant and all arrangement for spending a leisure afternoon. Highly recommended.

Lovely looking beach only let down by current building works at The Carbis Bay Hotel. Limited parking.

Lots and lots of lovely sand, and a very gentle sloping and wide area for bathing. A great place to spend a day. Enjoy!

Carbis bay hotel is developing beachside apartments at the present time with the beach being turned into a building site. Will probably be great once finished but bit of an eyesore and noisy at present

A gorgeously clean sandy beach and beautiful clear water. Absolutely ideal for families. Close to bus and station to St. Ives with the coastal path running either side.

The beach here is very clean and there is plenty of space if it gets busy. There are rock pools either end. If you're there early enough there is a fantastic sunrise view from this beach.

I felt compelled to write a review of Carbis Bay beach after reading some of the pointless, negative comments regarding the hotel and about the new holiday lodge development work running along the rear edge of the beach in front of the hotel. This is scheduled to complete in 2018 according to the hotel staff when I enquired during a... More

Quite simply one of the most beautiful beaches in the UK. Miles of soft sand and uninterrupted views of turquoise water with lovely beach cafe for coffee of lunch. Great walks along the coastal path.

This beach has it all, it is a firm family favourite has been for a few years now. I believe it's run by carbis bay beach hotel. If you are travelling here by car you might want to get here early or park in the train car park (steep hill-please prepare yourselves!) As space is limited due to the hotel... More

Clean sandy beach. Perfect to keep younger children happy building sandcastles. Very steep walk down to the beach.
