We parked at Embsay and took the train to the Bolton Abbey station. Combined with a pleasant walk to visit Bolton Abbey and coffee on our way back this made a really different day out. The train journey was great value.

We had a fantastic time on this heritage railway. We picked a day the Goods Train was running and managed to get tickets in both directions. Riding on the verandas of the brake van is a really great way to see the scenery.
