About
One of the best beaches in Chania prefecture, quite untouched and unexplored. Many travelers use the area around the beach as a free camping spot. It is actually a cedar forest next to the beach. It is also a favorite beach for naturists. The road...more

Yes it is a gorgeous beach, however as others have noted be prepared to see 'naked bodies' and if you go up the sand dunes a bit to get some shade under the trees you will see huge areas where people have used as a...More

This beach is really a beautiful gem with clean waters. After crossing Elafonisi you may drive ten minutes on unpaved road. It is not difficult, but then you have to descend by walking for another 15 minutes to the beach. The road is easy and...More

They told us after elafonisi if we want to see an amazing beach to go there! That was the best tip in our tour in Crete!

Involves driving through some tough road. But when you reach it it's a gem. Not a lot of people in September. Also you can loose your clothes and nobody bothers.

Is exactly as the title describes it . Locals, campers and unconscious tourists leave or lose their garbage there so it stays forever.

Probabily not yet known by all, this beach is superlative! You'll find nothing than the sea and the beach, in a special coreografy! Less people than Elafonisi but is not so easy to reach with the car due to the road

You need a car. And one with a good ground clearence if you can eftort it. It is a bit secluded, which is why it is so unspoiled. Get your hands on a good roadmap and stick to the southern coastline from Elafonissi.
