1st time visiting floating marketing in Thailand and found the stuff & foods selling in reasonable price and the seafood quite nice and fresh. Understand this floating marketing open until midnite and the store in organize manner and clean place.

i went Pattaya Floating Market before i thought all the floating will be boring and overpriced food and product until i visit Amphawa Floating Market, this market only open from friday to sunday but it's the best one ever. My favorite floating market so far. Unlike damnoen saduak, this market is more like contemporary modern floating market designed for tourist, local or foreign. And again unlike damnoen saduak, this market is not a tourist trap, probably the price is a bit higher than local market but it is straight and frank. The food is great and the view is... More

As the sun goes down the market starts to kick in. As floating markets go everything that floats either sells food or is a tour boat. Stop and taste the sea food on offer or take a tour to see the fireflies that inhabit the river at night. What I love about this place is that it is so cheap... More

The market is not crowded.They sell various type of food from appetizer,snacks,main course and desserts.Quite clean but surely very very hot.

This place is just another weekend market. One differece thing is that it happens alongside the river. Vendors put things on their boats floating on the water, also shophouses on the banks making the market over crowded. It's packed with locals who are swept by the nostalgia for their old days, coming to admire the old shophouses selling things resembles... More

spend 1 night at this amazing place, a floating market which more local people visited. foods is cheap and nice. its only operating on weekend , you may stay there one night to experience the peaceful :) there's few accommodation with reasonable price. catch the mini bus to maeklong railway market the next morning !
