From a distance, you'll be amazed how big it is! I thought it's an ocean and it was like it's calling me. There are a lot of beautiful mosques surrounding it.

I would suggest seeing lake lanao inside MSU-marawi....It is rather huge and serene... From Marawi City, it is really dirty... From the other side going to Malabang, it is also very beautiful!

Your initial impressions are not going to be great especially if your see the lake through Marawi City. A big, polluted, congested, business-driven city, Marawi is not well set up for visitors. And yet if you have the patience to explore Lake Lanao has quixotic...More
