One should be careful about which "Kalamitsi" they mean. There are two beaches next to eachother, one is where the camp site is located while the other is in front of the main village. Public transport stops at the latter and even though both beaches...More

Although most beaches at Sithonia are beautiful, we were very disappointed during our summer holidays at Sithonia: almost any beach (we visited min. 12 different beaches!) has numbers of loudspeakers on the beach, playing permanent techno beats: takketakketak, tikketikketik and-so-on. You will always hear two...More

The water and the sandwater were excellent, but the beach was too crowded...in our opinion... Only our teenage son was fully happy...

The beach is rather small, but yet comfortable. Water is on the deeper side. Very clean. Sand is rougher and larger. Could be a bit uncomfortable to sensitive feet. Parking is not really easy as most parking places are either taken or private. The beach...More

Marvelous sandy, blue-green cozy waters, shallow and warm, Blue Flag owner beach. Very beautiful place to visit. There is a tiny island at the right far end of the beach, in a swimming (almost walking :) distance, so if you feel the Explorer in you,...More

The beach itself is stunning. Clean sand, crystal clear water, no waves at all. Perfect for swimming, diving, pool floats. The water is quite deep- probably not suitable for small children. Bring your goggles in order to explore the sea life, it’s very interesting and...More

This beach is amazing. Water is so clear and refreshing. It's not the great place for the family with small children because it's not shallowly at all. Just need to buy a drink at the bar and the sunbed is yours.

It worths a visit! I liked the sand and the rocks in the right part of the beach, they provide shadow in the afternoon. Water was clear and good for snorkeling!

Not directly on the main Kalamitsi beaches, but a short hike (10min) to the left of the main bay.
