On Sunday, there is a huge market with food, clothing, art. An interesting 1 hour bus/collectivo ride from the Grand Mayan (to Walmart then a second vehicle in the direction of Punta de Mita). Enormous variety all starting at 10 a.m. Be prepared for a large crowd. If you arrive around 11 a.m. you will be tempted by a wide... More

Our family walked from our hotel (beach side) 2 x to buy fresh fish here. We also enjoyed the market that is set up every Sunday.

Simply excellent if you are a seafood lover and a cook. There are several locations within the market, so take your time looking around. When buying fish remember to look at the eyes, they must sparkle and not be opaque, and look inside the gills, they should be deep-red. Cheers

This fish market is fresh and has a variety of seafood and fish to take right home. Also available is artisan bread , Go down to then of the pier where there are various takeout foods and to go bakeries for the best artisan bread.

Lots of lovely jewellery makers, baked goods baskets, artists of all types and of course the fish market Also food to eat or take with you. Get there for 9 am as they are setting up... More

This is as fresh as it comes. A wide variety of fish and shellfish from multiple vendors. Pick yourself up some large shrimp, mahi mahi, or fresh tuna. It's all delicious.

Been coming to Bucerias and La Cruz for years and the Sunday market and fish market is a must for both value and entertainment. The fish market for me is as cool as it gets, particularly if you love to cook. The variety of fresh seafood available is second to none, and I live on the west coast. So get... More

Staying in Bucarias and took the local bus (11 pesos one way) to the La Cruz Sunday market. Organic farmers and artisans and food vendors stretch a great distance. Good food, great fresh fish and prices. Bought a large red snapper to grill at less than $2 a pound. Opens at 10:00am. Gets crowded pretty quickly. If you'd like a... More

Great selection of freshly cooked specialties and old favourites! Good selection of crafts etc ... but sometimes priced a little higher than other markets.
