Great place for a hike and river swim. Not a good idea to leave your car unattended when you walk up to the falls. Most of the break ins of cars is opportunity crime however it's well worth the trip.

Blue basin is beautiful cool spot. There are still some deep areas to swim and some very shallow if you want to take young kids to play. Must go in large groups. Its very secluded. Be sure to lock your car and secure valuables...

I loved this place, pouring with rain didn't ruin its beauty . Diego Martin in the North of Trinidad is a lovely area . I'm told it's unsafe to go alone or couples but in a big group it's fine . Wanna go back one...More

Did this journey a long time ago about 40+ years and it is nothing compared to what it is like now. It has deteriorated and the pool is shallow. As a child going there was a thrill to see bathers actually diving into the Basin....More
