If you’re on the Camino, this is a rather steep walk up. But you can drive here as most tourists do. This village is essentially a museum as it was completely restored for tourists. There is no other industry here but shops, restaurants, and hostals....More

A very small Hamlet off the beaten path, but popular with pilgrims walking the Camino de Santiago. It's worth a 20 minutes stop after taking the winding road to reach it.

It is a ancient celtic village, totally restored. She views are astonishing and the atmosphere is very pleasant.

Make sure to stop and visit the Church and the small area of shops. Such a wonderful spot in one of the highest Camino spot. I would suggest to sit and watch the "peregrinos" arrive

From the last village, Villafranca del Bierzo, you go to O Cebreiro. You can stop in the Laguna de Castilla, 2 kms before O Cebreiro but take into consideration that the hostel is expensive and the place has nothing to offer. Going to O Cebreiro...More
