Typical large market with a great range of everything you might need. Of course there are plenty of high street shops as well. Worth a visit if you like a market as it is large.

I've loved Walthamstow market since childhood, I still visit on a weekly basis yet now there is a mixture of traditional market stalls, with the modern shops of The Mall and newly developed Parade which has a Empire cinema, Nando's and other eateries. Café Culture if rife here so if you walk the entire mile length be sure to stop... More

You can really find bargains here. There are many places where you can buy things. I found my carnival outfit here for less than £10.

This market is the longest in UK. It runs from Tuesday to Saturday. Sunday it becomes a farmer's market so you will only find organic and home made food. Monday is closed. You can find a number of food stalls, clothes stalls, and pound a bowl stalls. If you can't find it in this market it probably does not exist!

Growing up, Stow market was a buzzing mile long stretch of stalls where you could buy pretty much anything. However, these days it is a shadow of its former self with only half the market filled with stalls. The indoor Selborne Walk is a tad better, but is suffering like other local centres since the opening of Westfield at Stratford... More
