Hi, You need to take a train to Sapporo or Chitose Airport to take a bus (Hokkaido Resort liner, etc) there. Do a search on "Hokkaido Access Network", winter bus. Whether you going to Ski, Sightseeing, or to the Resort, you can make a check with them.

Hi Nmk70 , I could guarentee that Hanazono will be well and truly open by then , the skiing will be awsome and although I dont use the terrain park i am sure it will be open , I myself chase the powder runs through the trees. My two sons [14 and 15 ] and I went snowmobile riding this year in January and yes it is very safe. We booked through the Hokaido Tracks office where we stayed , at Yama Shizen , but there are a few places that arrange snomobile tours. Enjoy.

Niseko Prince Hotel Hirafutei is not far from the Hirafu Welcome Centre, which is where the free skibus shuttle to and fro Hanazono is located. It comes approximately every 20 minutes. It's a 15 minutes journey, probably less if you have your own transport. Alternatively, if you've signed up with NISS (the ski-school), I believe they too can provide transport from a designated pick-up point near the Grand Hirafu Kids snowpark. Check with the NISS team (they're pretty quick in answering any queries). Hi. if it is skiing you want to do, that would not be a good timing to visit Niseko. Most of the ski resorts would open from end November and restaurants/bars would open at around the same timing as the resorts. Usually there will be snow in mid November but not enough to ski on.
