Wasn't quite ready for the amount of stairs here, it was definitley a trek to get down to the temple but worth it! Lots of shops you have to pass by on the stairs so be ready for that too. We ended up buying some beautifuly carved coconuts from a shop down at the bottom of the temple called brothers... More

Set into mountains this place is calm and peaceful. A easy short visit but there is a little hike to and up from the temple. Do take sarongs or you will have to buy it there for a price.

I must however warn you that the climb back up from the temple is not an easy one as there are a "couple" stair cases and I... More

You need to take stairs to go to this temple, in hot days it is exhausting, but the view is amazing and temple is beautiful.

The temple itself is not that amazing, but the place is SO beautiful, don't miss it ! Lots of stairs to access it (down and then up ...) but still we loved it. And the rice terraces around the stairs are magnificent. Note that they will do their utmost to sell your sarongs: but they are provided free of charges... More

You may need to wear a sorong to descend down about 200 steps to see these sandstone relief sculptures. There is a small group of men that provide them on loan at the top of the stairs. They seemed more concerned that my husband wear one than me, I was wearing capri length jeans and he had on hiking pants... More

We even found it so exciting that we decided to go a little bit off the track. The temple is a series of amazing shrines carved into the cliff face in a gorge. Go early 8 or 9 am before the tourists
