As an experienced rider a day on horse back with a pub lunch half way is bliss and in my view the best way to see the beautiful countryside where this trekking centre is located. The welcome received by everyone was as warm as the great coffee served in the new bistro facilities and much appreciated before a few hours... More

I located the Trekking Centre on FB and via their email system and asked if they would have a ride suitable for somebody with a back problem. I was really looking forward to this because it would have been a real treat. But nobody ever replied!

I wanted to do something different and memorable for my daughters 13th birthday. She is a little to big for typical parties at a ball pit but to young for other activities. She has always loved horses although had never ridden one so I contacted the team at Cannock Chase Trekking Centre who gave me a choice of ways to... More

Visited for my birthday and loved it. The trek group was small which was a bonus and staff catered to all of our needs. Me and my friend were paired with two fab horses who gave us both a fun ride that we were comfortable with, given our differing abilities. Would recommend this to anyone :)

I booked a 2 hour trek here as a birthday gift for a friend. Booking was over the telephone with payment by card. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised as the base was a lovely wooden building with great décor that contained a little café too. Reception staff were very friendly and welcoming and we were thrilled to hear only... More

They cater for all ages and skills of rider here. Being a novice I was given Sky a lovely gentile horse who looked after me as we rode through the forest up to the ridge with its views across to Telford. An hour’s gentile ride was exhilarating.

Visited for my birthday on Wednesday. Kids at school and Hubbie at work, needed to recharge the batteries. Booked for an hours trek and arrived to find I was the only one, brilliant guide, beautiful scenery, lots of deer. Lisa's horses yet again exceptional and well mannered. Finished off with a white chocolate mocha in the new facilities to warm... More

This is the most amazing, unique place in Staffordshire and beyond. The trekking takes place with experienced guides on the chase - which is a noted place of natural beauty. The horses are well cared for and clearly loved. The centre offers lessons - which are offered in a safe environment with a knowledgeable tutor. The visitors centre - a... More

My partner begged me to go horse riding/trekking with her in exchange for football and pub times, I agreed! It was the 27/12/16 and we arrived around 1300hrs to a lovely newly built reception/bistro/coffee shop and had a hot beverage. Not feeling the thought of riding a horse at all, I must say how welcome I was made to feel... More
