I took the ferry out to Rosendal. Unfortunately I didn’t know the Rose place was closed on Mondays. So I took the time and looked at the church. Which ended up being a surprise. A nice old stone church. Worth seeing.

Thank LostALot22

Thank you for your kind review! Yes, we are quite proud of our stone church from ca. 1250 with a lot of common history with Baroniet Rosendal since the Heir to the estate owned the church until 1910.

The Kvinnherad Church is an interesting place to visit but the history of the church is more interesting than the architecture itself. We were told that the first families at the Barony Rosendal lie embalmed in a separate sepulchre connected to the church.

Thank Bruce H
