The perfect day if dry and not too hot. Drive through the first car park (which had toilets) to the second which is more shaded and a lot closer to the Bisse. Walk 5km along beautiful paths and breathtaking suspension bridges to the cafe at the top end of the walk. Free to enter and park. Toilets located in first... More

Beautiful, mesmerizing ... The landscape is amazing. 4 suspension bridges, wooden passages along the cliff ... !! You'll love it. Those who suffer from vertigo ... Think twice.

We went there on a beautiful day (November 5) but were disappointed when we reached the car park to learn that most of the walk was closed. Someone had handwritten a sign saying that the walk was closed after the first suspension bridge, which was indeed the case. Nevertheless, we loved the short walk that we could do, as the... More

A hidden free gem with good parking. In a quieter region of Switzerland. Staffed by friendly volunteer conservationists. Superb metal suspension bridges, well maintained walkways. These have almost vertical drops to the side or below but very safely fenced and relatively flat walking. Good refreshment coffee/beer/snacks bar. Akin to Madeira Levada walks but much better in the light of mountain... More

Great place with fantastic views. And for free on top of that. BUT if you are subject to vertigo, DON'T even try to start a hike there! I personaly knew that I was more and more subject to vertigo (no idea why...) but I still decided to go there. The first part in the woods is very fine. Then a... More

This is a spectacular walk as long as you are not afraid of crossing 4 long suspension bridges over the gorges. It takes about 2.5 to 3 hours if you park at the car park nearest the chappelle. Three are two buvettes - one at each end

This a typical way, in the mountains, with vertiginous bridges. It has been renovated recently. Don't go there a rainy day, it will be closed and you won't see those gorgeous landscapes.

Getting to Torrent-Neuf is not always easy. Seeing that a bisse (Irrigation channels) don't usually have a starting point, they are normally connected to another. Which means you can walk along these irrigation water canals for miles. However if your travelling by car its not hard to find this canal because there are indications everywhere. By bus its a bit...
