Very disappointed, poor guide whose English was heavily accented. After the tour we were rushed through museum, film did not work. The group of people was far too big. This tourist attraction has great potential but needs to be brought into the 21st century. Multi...More

Promise you. You will leave the visit with plenty of new knowledge about the evolution of this beautiful island. Tour lasts about 40 minutes and aside of the interesting volcanic caves, the final visit to the experience is very good. Staff and guides very friendly...More

The tour is composed of 2 parts: first you get to see a small museum and a movie (in Portuguese with English subtitle), afterwards a guide takes you through the caves. The tour is not worth the fee you pay, we did not learn a...More

A visit split into 2 guided events, which depending on when you arrive could be in either order as it is a constant swap over. One part, in the lava tubes is great, 700 metres of uneven walking through the naturally formed caves. Interesting guide,...More

It's roughly 10 Euro each, tours take place every 45 minutes but there is a coffee shop so you can grab a drink while you wait.
