Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I stayed at the Bay View Sunset resort which I can't recommend, but it is located right in front of this wonderful beach, the best for snorkeling. You can see many species and lots of coral, the water is very visible and mild temperature, the sand is half white and half black on this side of the island. Many crustaceans live among the rubbish and the fallen leaves of the mangroves. I loved snorkeling, I spent many hours in the water watching the marine life of rare beauty, swimming a lot and picking up rubbish from the sea...I filled up rubbish bags and 100lt that I would ask the restaurant of the resort, sometimes I even forced the young people who worked there to help me, minimum to carry the heavy bags of rubbish.

Amazing place to watch the sun set on Ko Lipe - sadly only spoilt by a woman so determined to hear the sound of her own voice on her phone 🤬

Dirty beach with rubbish everywhere - very upsetting to see rubbish dumped on the road; in the forest and on the beach. We walked there from Pattaya beach. Don’t book accommodation on the beach as you will be so so upset and disappointed.

A nice beach which is not very long. A few expensive resorts at one end. A quiet beach perfect for just chilling out. Best part is very few boats park here. Just don't expect to see the sun actually setting.

This beach is ok. You really have to pick the right place to see it. It's not the romantic picturesque sunset you imagine but it's romantic and beautiful enough to do a couple of times.

This was a nice to spend te evening, however in the company of some mosquitos... The sunset is wonderful, and there is a quite boutique place to visit on the road back to the town...

Sunset beach is a 15 minute walk from Walking Street or maybe more if you explore along the way. My first time walking there I veered off and walked passed time to chill resort and Lipe Sunset resort then followed the off the beaten track path to the beach. Leaving I climbed the stairs of the Mojito restaurant and joined the road back downhill following road leading to walking street.

I arrived just after 3, sunbathed, walked the beach and had a great snorkel experience, seeing lots of different fish and coral. Sadly again the coral is struggling and not colourful. The coral begins from almost the shoreline. It is not a beach that you can just swim in the waters. As I got my place on the beach to watch the Sunset there were many attempting to take a plunge, probably to cool down from the walk there, that got a shock as they found the coral.

I was glad to have my mosquito spray in my bag as it saved me from being eaten.

Sadly my first night as the sun was setting beautifully and the colours were beginning to appear, a huge cloud covered the sunset. It was disappointing but you can’t change nature.

I took the afternoon 4 island snorkelling tour that finished watching the Sunset on a long tail boat near the beach. This was glorious.

Beautiful ❤️
We walked a little further from the entrance coz there were a lot of dogs lying around. Found a spot with less people get the Vibes we wanted. Very relaxing. Come before 6:30 pm local time! That's when the sun starts to set.
