It is lovely to walk along the Sandy Beach but dogs are no longer welcome or must be on leash so don't go there to walk your dog

This is a natural beach on the south side of the Lake of Two Mountains. It is within walking distance of Jack Layton Park (a lovely walk through the woods). Excellent swimming as the beach shelves gently into the lake. No dogs allowed off leash.

Visited the beach for the first time this November, so I didn’t quite see a beach. The boardwalk to Jack Layton park and trail in the woods were beautiful and peaceful. We even saw ducks. Enjoy the relaxation!
