This is a stunningly beautiful castle with incredible views of the surrounding villages and landscape. The castle has a 1000 year history and was destroyed and rebuilt at least once. Great chance to see how the royalty lived. There is a bus that takes you up to the castle and back, or you can walk. It is quite steep. We... More

The castle tour was fun and educational. Our tour guide was quite funny specially for a German (No offense to Germans I'm just trying to be funny). I actually enjoyed it. a good sneak peak at how the Prussian royalties lived during the olden days.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this castle - probably the best we have seen so far, even taking into account Neuschwanstein. The views are incredible and the English tour we took was very informative. Our guide spoke excellent English and was extremely knowledgeable. The fact that the Castle is still privately owned by Georg Friedrich,Prince of Prussia and Karl... More

Nice tour and a beautiful castle, we had foggy weather so we could not see far, but I am sure with great weather you could see for miles. Worth the trip.

This castle is undeniably gorgeous with its reinforced walls and stately positioning atop the mountain. It is a long steep walkway and then staircase and then ramp up and up and up to the castle. We paid for the guided tour in English but it was quite disappointing. We only saw a short ring of rooms on one floor the... More

This Castle was excellent. we parked at the base €2, took the buss up €1.5 each. then walked back down to the car when we finished. They did not have guided tours they only had self-guided tours with guides available in most rooms, we got pensioner discounts so it cost €10 each - this was a much better way to... More

This castle is so beautiful and is perched way up on the top of a hill. It offers breathtaking views from the top. You can pay for a tour and I really enjoyed that. It is an actually castle that still has a living Prince that has functions there. They do not live there as they prefer the modern conveniences... More

We went in September on one of the 'Royal Stroll' weekends. The castle rooms were open to be visited at ones leisure, not just on a tour. In addition, there was a Birds of Prey show in the courtyard. I think the show could have been done better. Perhaps it was because it was the firs show of the weekend... More

This was amazing. The drive to get to the castle was amazing. When you see the castle in the distance, it looks so grand and imposing. They offer tours inside and its a nice hike to get to the front door. Beautiful castle and tons of history inside.
