After a major refit and refurb in February 2017 we opened our doors on March 17th to the village and we are bigger and better than ever before. The pub is under new ownership and is run by a former Bath Ales guy so you can be sure the beers are kept well. A great new menu consisting of locally sourced professionally cooked delicious pub food is on offer everyday and the pub opens at 12pm daily and is open all day too! Why not drop in and say hi, it's no longer a place to avoid and is fast becoming the place to be. Grab yourself a drink and stop a while - you are most welcome:)

A classic village pub, still serving both locals and visitors with first class beer and company. We didn’t take a meal but their reputation is good.

What do I look for in a good pub? I have travelled much, both internationally and domestically and can avow without fear of equivocation, pubs are almost unique to Britain. So what makes a good one? For me, the place I would visit most often...More

We had a lovely lunch at the Seven Stars on Sunday the roast dinners were amazing and the service good. All food was served at the same time and hot (which is a touch task for 20 people!) I would definitely recommend

We were playing at Glasto 2017 and we cycled down and stumbled upon this pub en route. I am gluten sensitive so I am always prepared for disappointment. The last place to be careless with gut sensitivity is Glastonbury festival! This pub knows how to...More

I always feel a restaurant/pub can be judged best by the roast they serve and the gravy that goes with it has a role to play ... no disappointment here! What a fabulous meal, cooked to perfection. As for the whisky chocolate cake to follow...MmmMmmm!...More
