Though simple but providing a fresh feel. It is very accessible as it is just next to the Kazurabashi bridge. Unlike the bridge you don't need to pay to see the waterfall.

2 mins. walk further down from the Vine Bridge exit, you will find the Biwa Waterfall, flowing down from a great height.

This is one of the many little waterfalls in the area. We did some good walks around here. There are many little waterfalls that feed the local streams often with fish in them. There are some camping spots available during the summer period.

We felt relaxed when we listened to the sound generated by the fall. There were steps which led us to its bottom. We really enjoyed its serene environment. Highly recommend.

A lovely relaxing waterfall after walking across the Vine bridge. The water is clean and looked very inviting for a swim.

Not the all time great waterfall but very strong even in September and only about 100 yards from the rope bridge

After you have adventured the Iya Kazura Bridge, come and see the Biwa-no-taki waterfall. The waterfall and the run-off (very short before ending into the river) are picturesque. Take care, slippery. Worth a stop, if only to take in the scenery.
