It's no wonder that this garden has been awarded as being the best in Japan. Since it's viewed from within the museum, no visitor can mar the perfect scenes created outside. The artwork on display was equally fascinating.

It's quite far away. It takes about 3.5 - 4 hours from Kyoto to Yasugi (about 390 km). It will cost around 12,000 yen (one way). Take the Nozomi bullet train from Kyoto to Okayama (it's 3 stops). Then, transfer to the JR... More
